แบบไม่มีแอร์ เปิดกระจก แต่กลิ่นหนังแรงมาก ๆ ยิ่งตากแดดยิ่งเกินห้ามใจ (เหม็นจนจะอ้วก ผมไม่ชอบจริง ๆ)

ป่านนี้ตัวถังน่าจะอยู่ น่าจะเปลี่ยนเครื่องดีเซลนิสสัน (มั้ง) แทน

I also have a W111 220Sb 1961 with front disc brakes, it has been under restoration since 2005. I think you already know spare parts prices either NOS or remanufactured ones.
New pair of rear light clusters costs around 50,000 baht, a pair of stacked US headlamp assembly costs around 30,000 baht, a reissued ivory white-colored steering wheel plus padded horn ring cost around 25,000 baht!! I got my car free of charge from my close friend's sister, then spent more than 500,000 baht now, the bills and receipts are about an inch thick!! So, if you are really willing to restore this vintage model, be prepare to spend some money if you want an almost brand new Mercedes W111 fintail!!

Yes, it is a costly project but it 's glorious. My project almost complete.

This is my Grandparent's car. It was purchased as a brand new car in 2505. This MB was kept in the garage for 3 decades. It now a time to restore. Once the project is completed then I will post it for BenzOwner member. Thanks

2505 - 543 = 1962 right ?
3 decades = 30 years
1962 + 30 = 1992 right ?
This year 2012
2012 - 1962 = 50 years or 5 decades Right ?

Dear K' Chatupong,

Your calculation is right. This car is 50 years old. The car was kept in the garage for 30 years because it was used during 1962-1982.

I'm happy to see every reply and really want to share my project as an inspiration for those who like classic car.
